I trained in medicine in Iceland and in psychiatry in the United Kingdom. I lead the Low Secure Service for female personality disorder at New Dawn Ward at Cygnet Hospital Bierley in Bradford, Yorkshire. I also provide a private in- and out-patient service at Cygnet Hospital Harrogate, Yorkshire.

The Mind and how it communicates through dreams and the body fascinates me. I have special interests in psychological trauma, Borderline Personality Disorder, Depression and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).

I was born in Copenhagen, Denmark, but have lived for most of my life in Reykjavík, Iceland and lately in Harrogate, Yorkshire. I am married and have three children.
